PRINCE2™ Foundation, Practitioner courses, Southampton, Salisbury

Prince2™ Foundation and Prince2™ Practitioner courses are run regularly at our training centres. The first three days of the PRINCE2 course is the Foundation and exam and the remainder of the course is the PRINCE2 Practitioner and exam.

IPSO FACTO is an PRINCE2^TM Affiliate to "Pierce Mayfield", who is an ATO to the AMPG. All PRINCE2^TM material for both Foundation and Practitioner courses are provided by our ATO, and verified by the APMG.

About PRINCE2TM PRINCE2TM is Version 2 of the UK Government’s recommended structured method for the effective management of projects - regardless of size and type. In just over 10 years it has become one of the fastest growing internationally accepted project management methods, having been adopted by organisations in Australia, South Africa, Europe and the USA. Course Content This PRINCE2TM Practitioner course is an Association for Project Management Group (APMG) Accredited Course, which covers the elements contained in the APMG Syllabus for the PRINCE2 Practitioner Course. (This covers the Foundation syllabus as well). For those taking both the Foundation and Practitioner Exams we offer past-paper exercises and sample answers. Examination Results If you are considering taking one of our Practitioner courses you will no doubt be asking yourself "What about their results?" We have increased our pass rate over the past months following the introduction of even more comprehensive material into our Practitioner preparation pack. Programme This Practitioner training comprises an intensive four days, running from Monday to Thursday and includes approximately 15 to 20 hours pre-course preparation and 2 to 3 hours private evening work. The Practitioner Exam is taken on the Friday morning. As this is an intensive course, delegates should expect to be away from their work environment for the whole week. Pre-Course Work Prior to training, delegates will be issued with a pre-course Study pack including:  • Reading selected chapters from the PRINCE2 manual and answering ‘quiz’ questions • Pre-reading a Case Study scenario and carrying out exercises based on this scenario • Past Foundation and Practitioner exam questions/answer guides Prerequisites To gain the most from the Practitioner Course we strongly recommend that delegates have had prior experience of projects and the project management environment, ideally as a project manager. Alternatively, we recommend that less-experienced delegates split the training by first attempting the PRINCE2 Foundation Course and Foundation Exam, then gain experience in using PRINCE2 on projects before proceeding on to the Practitioner level (which can be achieved as a 2 day Top-Up plus Practitioner examination).
